Lluesty — Heritage Restoration

Blue Apple was appointed in a dual capacity as project management and architectural consultants for Lluesty, a Grade II-listed heritage property. Our involvement encompassed the initial assessment, design development, and preparation of planning documentation for the proposed restoration and conversion scheme.

Our scope covered heritage impact assessment, conceptual design, detailed architectural proposals, and the preparation and submission of planning applications. The project progressed through to the planning stage, with all necessary documentation and supporting studies prepared to secure the required consents.

The design approach was rooted in sensitive conservation principles, seeking to rescue and stabilise the structurally compromised heritage building. Proposals balanced the preservation of significant architectural features with the introduction of modern functionality, all within the constraints of Listed Building Consent requirements.
