A 23,616 sq ft town-centre office building being converted to an educational facility — the whole building, all four storeys, including the lower ground floor and basement. We are the design and build contractor.

The contract is signed and the project is in pre-construction. There is no start on site date yet, and no completion date is fixed under the appointment. We are showing it because it is the largest single building we have taken on, and because the planning consent is a matter of public record you are welcome to check.

Scope
What our appointment covers
Design
Architectural design coordination as our own service, plus the full consultant team: structural, mechanical and electrical, fire engineering, acoustics, access and energy modelling.
Construction
Every package — groundworks, roofing, mechanical and electrical installations, glazing, finishes, lifts, site management and commissioning.
Compliance
Principal Contractor under CDM 2015, Building Regulations submissions and completion documentation, and discharge of the outstanding planning conditions.

We will publish drawings and photographs once we are on site and working to our own measured survey and design information. The planning drawings for this building are the copyright of another practice and are not ours to publish.
