Blue Apple Contracting Ltd (“Blue Apple”, “we”) is the controller of personal information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 07715068, registered office 102–116 Windmill Road, Croydon CR0 2XQ. Contact: info@blueapple.uk.com or 020 8240 2223.

What we collect, and why

  • Enquiries. When you use our contact form, calculators or checker enquiry forms, we collect what you give us — typically your name, email address, phone number, property postcode and details of your project. We use this to respond to you and, if you instruct us, to deliver our services. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
  • Calls and email. If you contact us directly we hold the correspondence for the same purposes.
  • Security logs. Our website and hosting provider record technical data such as IP addresses in server and security logs to keep the site safe. Legal basis: legitimate interest in security.

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics profiling on this site, we do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing unless you have asked for it.

Who receives your information

Service providers who process data for us: our website hosting provider, and Google Workspace, which handles our email — so enquiry notifications pass through Google’s systems. Embedded content on some pages (for example an Instagram feed, fonts served by Google, or links to WhatsApp and social platforms) may cause your browser to contact those providers directly under their own privacy policies. We do not otherwise share your information unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to two years, then deleted. Records connected to projects are kept for as long as the law and our insurance reasonably require — generally up to six years after the work, and longer where statutory building records demand it. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, and withdraw any consent you have given. Email info@blueapple.uk.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

This site uses only technical cookies needed to make it work (for example page caching). Our forms do not set tracking cookies. Embedded third-party content, where present, may set its own cookies under that provider’s policy.
